Privacy Policy

How local text and file processing differs from the website’s analytics and hosting requests.

Updated September 8, 2026

Your text and selected files

The cleaner processes pasted text, SVG, and supported images in your browser. The application does not send that text, file names, or file contents to a remote cleaning service. Downloads are created as new files on your device. Closing or reloading the page clears the current workspace; the application does not save your input in browser storage.

Usage analytics

The site uses Google Analytics and a separate site analytics endpoint at global-api.xiaoxiaobite.com. These receive page views and usage events such as starting an edit, switching modes, copying, downloading, or a processing error. Events may include the page path, language, input character count, number of changed characters, file counts, and whether a built-in sample was used. They do not include the text, file names, or file contents.

The site analytics code stores a randomly generated visitor identifier in local storage and a session identifier in session storage. Google Analytics may use its own cookies and identifiers. Clearing site data removes identifiers stored by this site; browser privacy controls can limit third-party requests. See Google’s privacy policy for its processing practices.

Hosting and external resources

Cloudflare serves the website. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, and analytics requests go to the services described above. Those services receive normal connection information, which can include your IP address, browser details, and requested resource. Local file processing does not mean that the website makes no network requests.

Your choices

You can inspect the site’s network requests with your browser tools, use browser tracking protection, or clear stored site data. Keep originals of files you process, and only paste information you are comfortable handling in your browser and its installed extensions.

Changes

This page describes the current implementation as of the date above. It will be updated if the site changes how it processes input or usage data.
